Ooredoo beat OCT Muscat
Ashan Fonseka and Aaqib Javed claimed four wickets each to power Ooredoo to a 5-wicket win over OCT Muscat in an A Division game at MOS 2 ground on Friday.
OCT Muscat was bundled out for 155 in the 35th over, Majid Hussein Al Balushi toscoring with 60 not out and Wasim Ismail scoring 24. Ashan and Aaqib bowled suoerbly to claim 4 for 40 and 4 for 50 respectively.
Ooredoo stuttered initially after being reduced to 78 for 4 before recovering to post a 5-wicket win in the 42nd over thanks to Adil Mohammed’s unbeaten 42 off 74. Vijayanand chipped in with a useful 38. Ali Akbar bagged two wickets for OCT Muscat.

Parthiban Mohan slammed a whirlwind 66 not out off 35 balls to steer Zubair CT to a comfortable 5-wicket victory against STS Tebodin in a D Division match at Muscat Municipality ground 2 on Friday.
STS scored 175 for 7 in 20 overs, Vignesh Gunasekar (49) and Vikas Bhadoria (37 not out) being the main scorers.
Zubair raced to the target with20 balls to spare, scoring 176 for 5. Apart from Prathiban, Rupp Sighe batted well too, contributing 36 not out. Barmeda bagged 2 for 24.

Shareef Al Balushi’s magnificent all-round show helped OCT Maabelah to a big 7-wicket win against RAHRC at Muscat Municipality ground 3.
Shareef claimed 3 for 11 while Asif Al Balushi took 3 for 17 as RAHRC was bowled out for a paltry 98 in the 16th over. OCT Maabela needed only 12.3 overs to overhaul the target, scoring 101 for 3 thanks to Shareef ’s 38 not out.
