Al Zain launches fresh and frozen chicken products

MUSCAT: Al Zain Farm LLC, one of the aspiring and leading poultry brand in the market, has launched wide range of fresh and frozen whole chicken products and its parts across the country.

Al Zain Farm has been in Oman market with its farm fresh table eggs since three years. Spread across 16 Sq.-Km of land at Bumsika, Sinaw, Al Zain Farms has a fully integrated automated hitech European equipment and machinery.

Al Zain chickens are hand slaughter in accordance with the Islamic Sharia rituals, brings topquality fresh and frozen chicken direct from the farm, without losing its freshness. It is not far to seek why customers need to go for Al Zain chicken brand. The poultry farm produces 100 per cent vegetarian feed from its own feed mill, which is free from any antibiotics residue.

Further, the poultry farm has installed the most advanced, fully-automated plant and machinery from leading European manufacturers, which ensures highest level of hygienic standards in the entire process, until packing.

“With today’s launch, we are aiming at making available the best fresh and frozen Omani chicken direct from the farm to our customers,” said Mr Shabbir Boriyawala, chairman of Al Zain Farm LLC.

He further added that, they are amongst first in Oman; introducing high quality air chilled fresh products with unique leak proof packing in absorbent tray increases the freshness of the product along with ultimate benefit to customer in the form of extra weight. “In view of our better facilities and state-of-the-art machinery and plant, we are in a better position to offer standard quality products in line with the fast changing global market,” added the chairman.

All the chickens are placed in an environmentally-controlled atmosphere in the cages under the strict supervision of technical experts.

With the launch, Al Zain fresh and frozen whole chickens are available in the range of 700 grams to 1.3 kgs, while chicken parts in separate packages comprise drum sticks, thighs, wings, heart, gizzard, liver or mixed cuts.

Fresh chicken is packed in foam tray with Cryovac SES Film, which ensures perfect freshness and better shelf-life of the product and easiness in distributing it to both retailers and consumers.

Yet another unique advantage of Al Zain poultry is that fresh chickens are air-chilled, which means that there is no added moistures and ensures less chances for cross contamination. Also, air-chilled chicken tastes better as the natural juices are not diluted and therefore the meat is more tender and flavorful. Being air-chilled, chicken cooks faster and also customer is paying 7-10% less than conventional water-chilled chicken.

One of the biggest advantages of air-chilled chicken is that customers can enjoy ‘crispy skin’ and photo perfect roasted chicken, which are almost impossible with water-chilled chickens.
