Knowledge Oman to host workshop

MUSCAT: Knowledge Oman, the leading knowledge-sharing platform in the Sultanate, is hosting C3, Consult and Coach for Cause, along with Dubai Expo 2020 for a free workshop titled “Making money by doing good” open for the public to register, attend and learn about the opportunities.
The workshop is designed to benefit the community with an incredible opportunity to support the largest number of entrepreneurs, create an opportunity of being part of Dubai Expo 2020 and win a grant and gather the expertise, values and skills of many entrepreneurs under one roof.
“We are pleased to partner and bring the social entrepreneurship consulting firm, C3, along with Expo 2020 in Oman to share learning about social entrepreneurship and opportunities for people to learn, be a part of and make a difference to the societies around the world,” said Khalfan Al Mahrazy, President of Knowledge Oman.
Helping entrepreneurs
C3 is a UAE-based social enterprise helping entrepreneurs in the Middle East unlock their growth potential and maximise their positive impact on the community. The Expo Live Innovation Impact Grant Programme aims to fund novel and innovative solutions that encapsulate the spirit of Expo 2020 Dubai’s overall theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”.
The programme awards funding up to US$100,000 each to social enterprises, start-ups and grassroots projects from around the world, based on their potential to impact the environment positively and generate real social value
As the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are becoming more popular locally, this workshop serves the audience with insights about seizing the opportunity to make a difference and yielding the rewards for it. The workshop aims to provide participants with experience and a chance to engage with likeminded professionals in an open discussion on how to maximise social impact in the communities.
The workshop is scheduled to take place on October 18, 2018, from 6pm until 9pm at Bank Dhofar’s Performance Academy in Panorama Mall, where regional speakers from Dubai will be shedding light on more details about Dubai Expo 2020 and this initiative.
