Shangri-La celebrates World Week of Italian Cuisine
MUSCAT: Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa, Sultanate of Oman celebrates World Week of Italian Cuisine with an exquisite menu inspired by the region of Puglia at Capri Court from Monday, 19 November 2018, until Saturday, 24 November 2018.
Promising traditional, yet unique dishes, the resort’s Italian Chef Mirco Zompo has created a special menu inspired by Italy’s southern region, Puglia. The menu features a variety flavours and ingredients showcasing Italy’s contribution to Muscat’s dining scene.
On Monday, 19 November, the five-piece Italian band, Mezzotono, will perform at Capri Court. It will be their only hotel performance in Muscat during World Week of Italian cuisine. The band’s unique style perfectly imitates the sound of real instruments using only their voices to create the sound of a small orchestra. This is a not-to-be-missed performance in the intimate setting of Capri Court.
The Italian cuisine in the World Week brings together key individuals based in Muscat and aims to promote the country’s food, lifestyle, culture and arts through several dining experiences in the city’s most in-demand Italian restaurants. Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa, Sultanate of Oman’s well-loved Capri Court is one of several hand-picked restaurants participating in the official programme of this year’s Italian cuisine of the World Week.
