First Oman show of acclaimed Indian comedy group

MUSCAT: Oman Events, in association with ORO, is proud to host East India Comedy (EIC), one of India’s most acclaimed comedy groups, live in Oman for the first time.
The comedy show will be held at the Afrah Ballroom, Grand Hyatt Hotel. Tickets are priced at OMR7.5 for Regular, OMR 10 for Standard and OMR12 for Premium tickets. The show is supported by Spirals Events, powered by Humor Infection, radio partner T FM 95.4 and sponsored by Renna Mobile.
East India Comedy is a collective of 5 Indian stand-up comedians, including Sapan Verma, Sahil Shah, Kunal Rao, Angad Singh Ranyal and Azeem Banatwalla, who perform comedy shows, corporate events and write scripts, movies and television shows.

The group is one of India’s largest and most popular comedy companies. East India Comedy also maintains a YouTube channel that displays their comedy stints and satires on topics such as politics and the Indian film industry. Much of their reputation was earned through their online presence.
The comedy group has a large social media presence, with over 154 million views and 1.2 million subscribers on YouTube, 410,000 followers on Instagram, over 1.3 million likes on Facebook and 1.5 million followers on Twitter.
Gates open at 6:00 pm and the show starts at 8:00 pm, followed by an after party at 11:00 pm.
