Indian Social Club Malayalam Wing to celebrate annual Women's Day and Children's Day
MUSCAT: The annual Women’s Day celebration of ISC Malayalam Wing will be held on 7th December at 6.30pm at ISM/ISC multipurpose hall in Darsait. Chief Guest for the event is Dr K.P. Sudheera, a prolific and renowned writer adorning an impeccable place in Malayalam literature. She has published about 65 books so far ranging from novels, stories, poems to travelogues and memoir etc.
She has received various national and international awards, few of them are Lalithambika Antharjjanam award, Grehalakshmi award, Uroob award, Kasturba Samman from Sahitya Academy Delhi, Lingual Harmony award from London, Hind Gaurav award from New York etc. She was honoured with doctorate by Vikramsila University, Bihar, India and conferred upon her with the title “Vidyavachaspathy”.
Divya Prasad, a well recognised Malayalam writer and a good orator, based in Muscat will also speak at the event.

E.K. Kutty
E.K. Kutty is the chief guest for Annual Children’s Day celebrations of ISC Malayalam Wing. The event is scheduled for 8th December 2018, at 6.30pm at ISCM hall in Darsait. E.K. Kutty served at various Science and Technology organisations of Government of India in Pune and Bangalore for 40 years, last 30 years in Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) as Director. Post-retirement from Government, he served as Dean of National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangalore.
Since 2010 and currently serving High/Higher secondary student community in nurturing, developing and grooming them, mainly in the areas of Science and technology. He has been organising SPACE CAMP for students excited in Astronomy, Astrophysics, Rocketry, Satellites, Aerospace etc. at Bangalore and in Calicut. He enjoys interacting with students in schools/colleges with a view to develop them in various spheres of life.
