Featuring a design optimised for space, aerodynamics, and efficiency, the ASX frontal profile shares a close family resemblance with the Montero and Outlander. At the rear, the ASX offers a low and wide silhouette, highlighted with a sharp aerodynamic lip at the bottom of the backlight and slim slanted combination lamps.

Mechanically, ASX is equipped with a 2.0-litre engine that uses a lightweight aluminium block for optimum performance output of 150PS, allowing it to take control of city streets and open highways alike. MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control) technology provides optimal valve timing at both low and high rev ranges, delivering ample performance to make the most of every straight and curve in the road, without impacting fuel economy. Mated to this engine is Mitsubishi’s renowned INVECSIII 6-speed CVT transmission.
