Ford event showcases new Transit Custom, Tourneo Custom, Pick-up and SUV range
The Ford Transit has quickly established itself as the fastest growing van brand in the Middle East
MUSCAT: Arabian Car Marketing Co. LLC, the Ford dealers in Oman showcased the latest introductions from Ford – the Transit Custom van and Tourneo Custom bus, at Hotel Crowne Plaza in Muscat, during a special preview for its fleet customers.
During the event, guests had the opportunity to test-drive and experience first-hand the ‘Built Ford Tough’ all-new Transit Custom, Tourneo Custom and the extensive range of Ford utilities and trucks, and discover what makes Ford vehicles outstanding.
The Ford Transit has quickly established itself as the fastest growing van brand in the Middle East becoming a vehicle of choice for commercial activities, emergency services and more. The people mover on the other hand is a versatile vehicle with a capability to transport up to nine passengers (including driver) comfortably in the premium grade.

Ford’s new Transit Custom commercial vehicle, delivers a bold new design, an all-new interior and enhanced productivity. The Transit Custom’s latest generation Ford 2.2-litre Duratorq turbo diesel engine has been developed with the latest turbocharging, fuel injection, combustion system, structural design and low-friction technologies to deliver significant improvements in fuel efficiency, performance and operating refinement, while also providing outstanding durability, low cost-of-ownership and maximum payload capacity of 1.45 ton. Unique 50/50 swingopen type rear door makes it easier for loading / unloading of cargo. The new Tourneo Custom people mover, delivers first-class travel for up to nine occupants in an all-new premium interior. Distinguished by its bold new front-end design with five-bar chrome grille, the new Tourneo Custom offers customers a luxurious cabin featuring uniquein-segment rear seating with six individual seats that can be arranged in various configurations. With the new Tourneo Custom, every passenger can enjoy the best seat in the house. The Tourneo line-up offers a choice of short wheelbase and long wheelbase versions. The longer model provides additional luggage space behind the third seat row.
