Bank Muscat al Mazyona customers share OMR298,000 at Sohar carnival

The bank understand­s customer expectatio­ns and al Mazyona 2018 guarantees more prizes for more winners in all regions

MUSCAT: Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, in step with its vision ‘To serve you better, everyday’ and commitment to partnershi­p in promoting a strong savings culture Oman, organised a fun-filled event in Sohar to celebrate al Mazyona savings experience.

Dr Mohammed Ibrahim Al Zadjali, Majlis Ash’shura member representi­ng the wilayat of Sohar, was the guest of honour at the exciting al Mazyona carnival attended by a large turnout of customers. The highlights of the family event held at Sohar Amusement Centre included various monthly draws offering prizes totalling OMR298,000 shared by 130 winners.

Reaching out with a powerful call for savings and guaranteei­ng more for everyone to share, Oman’s flagship al Mazyona savings scheme offers the biggest OMR10 million prize money in Oman and the region.

“Reaching out with a powerful call for savings, the highlights of 2018 al Mazyona savings scheme include high value prizes for different segments, including women, children, youth and high saving customers.”

The bank rewards a large number of al Mazyona customers across the Sultanate every month. Targeting the high saving segment, the prize draw held on the occasion for al jawhar customers included OMR10,000 each for 10 winners and OMR 20,000 each for two winners. The special monthly regional prize draw also rewarded 28 winners, who received OMR5,000 each. The prize draw for al Mazyona Children’s Account holders rewarded 30 winners who received OMR100 each and another 10 children won birthday prizes of OMR100 each.

The monthly draw for Zeinah women customers included 10 prizes of OMR1,000 each. Forty youth customers holding Shababi account also won OMR100 each in the draw held at the carnival.

Springing the biggest surprise, the focus of al Mazyona has shifted to the grand year-end prizes totalling OMR900,000 to be shared by seven winners, including the mega OMR500,000 prize for asalah Priority banking customers.

The end of year prizes awaiting al jawhar Privilege banking customers include OMR100,000 each for two customers. The attractive year-end prizes also include OMR50,000 each for four customers across the Sultanate. Customers are required to maintain the minimum balance requiremen­t in each category to qualify for the year-end prize draws.
