Sohar International sponsors graduation ceremony of Oman College of Health Sciences

MUSCAT: In line with its commitment towards empowering the fledgling local talents in different professional fields, Sohar International recently sponsored the graduation ceremony of a new batch of students from Oman College of Health Sciences and the Higher Institute for Health Specialisations which operate under the Ministry of Health.

Held under the auspices of Dr. Mohammed bin Saif Al Hosni, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Health Affairs, the event honoured 482 students from different health specialties on their graduation success.

Joining the celebration and receiving a token of appreciation on behalf of the bank, Khalil Al Hedaifi, Chief Retail Banking Officer, noted, “As part of the new Sohar International brand identity, helping others win and achieve their goals is an integral part of our purpose as an organisation. Hence, we are pleased to join in celebrating the academic achievements of the future professionals in the health sector. We congratulate them on this achievement and wish them lasting success in their careers. We further commend the efforts of the Ministry of Health in building the capacities of Omanis in this nationally important sector.”

Awarded with Bachelor or Diploma degrees in various specialities including Health Information Management, Pharmacy, Medical Imaging, Laboratories, Physiotherapy, Oral and Dental Surgery, and General Nursing, the graduating students will move forward in their career to add more momentum to Oman’s healthcare sector.
