Singing sensations Bappi Lahiri, Shibani Kashyap to judge grand finale of ‘Dil Ki Awaaz Season 2’

MUSCAT: The stage is set for renowned money transfer organisation Xpress Money to host ‘Dil Ki Awaaz Season 2’, touted to be Oman’s biggest singing talent show.

The 20 shortlisted finalists will be vying for the top 3 spots at the grand finale to be held on March 22 at the Amphitheater, Qurum. The winners will be chosen by celebrity judges and singing sensations Bappi Lahiri and Shibani Kashyap. The grand event is open to all and the entry is free.

As a key player of the global remittance industry, Xpress Money is aware that migrant workers often give up on their dreams to provide for their families. In order to provide a platform where migrant workers could revisit and rekindle their half-baked dreams, Xpress Money launched the second season of ‘Dil Ki Awaaz’.

Securing a position among the Top 20 finalists was not a cakewalk, as the participants underwent a rigorous audition process. Over the last 2 months, a celebrated panel of judges have continually nurtured their singing skills and trained them to put up a scintillating performance at the grand finale in the presence of a live audience. Celebrity musical performances, a line-up of stunning dance shows and talented contestants competing for the top spot are expected to take the stage by storm at the grand finale.

The event specifically targeted the South Asian communities at labour camps in Oman. Dil Ki Awaaz Season 2 has the potential to help migrant workers revisit their musical dreams and change their lives in a way they could never have imagined.
