Sohar Internatio­nal picks winners of 2nd monthly draw

MUSCAT: Sohar Internatio­nal recently announced winners in the second monthly draws of its prize scheme for 2019.

Continuing to instil prudent saving practices and enabling customers to win, the monthly draws revealed four winners of a grand total of OMR 100,000 from the General and Wealth Management segments, as well as 10 winners in the Monthly Youth Draws. The draws were held at a social gathering in Sur, under the auspices of Sheikh Ahmed Ali Al Shehhi, Deputy Wali of Sur, and attended by customers from Willayat Sur and neighbouri­ng wilayats.

Commenting on the scheme that gives customers more chances to win and achieve their ambitions, Khalil Salim Al Hedaifi, Chief Retail Banking Officer at Sohar Internatio­nal said, “There are lots of rewards awaiting our customers throughout the year, with the quarterly draws happening next month in which we will give away OMR 200,000 in cash prizes to our lucky customers. We have crafted the Sohar I Prizes Scheme 2019 with our customers in mind, introducin­g new draw categories and offering them more prizes in Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Special Occasion Draws and the End of Year Grand Draws. On behalf of Sohar Internatio­nal, I would like to congratula­te each of the winners of the Monthly Draws; as well as encourage all our other customers to continue saving so as to maximise their chances of winning this year.”

S. Al Balushi (Minor) from Al Qurum Branch and S. M. Al Hadi from Al Amerat Branch from the General Segment were rewarded with OMR 25,000 each and from the Wealth Management Segment, L. Al Balushi from Sur Branch and M.H. Al Hamrashdi from Rustaq Branch each won OMR 25,000.

In the Youth Monthly Draws (rewarding customers aged between 18 and 25 years old), Nasser Al Nasri from Al Khuwair Branch, Mohammed Al Mamarifrom Shinas Branch, Mr Shihab Al Mamari from Ibri Branch, Majid Al Farqani from Nizwa Branch, Mazin Al Mamari from Saham Branch, F. Al Zidi from MBD Branch, Wael Al Amri from Avenues Mall Branch, Maha Al Balushi from Al Mabeela, Noor. M. Al Lawati from Al Khoudh Branch, Mohammed Al Tarifi from Al Khoudh Branch, walked away with a total of OMR 2,000 equally distribute­d among them.

To be eligible in the Monthly and Youth Monthly draws, customers need to maintain a minimum monthly average balance of OMR 100, while for the draws dedicated to Wealth Management customers, an average monthly balance of OMR 40,000 is required.
