Asa’ad holds talks with Arab leaders, UN Secretary General

TUNIS: His Highness Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Internatio­nal Relations and Cooperatio­n Affairs, Personal Representa­tive of His Majesty the Sultan met yesterday with Antonio Guterres, UN Secretary General and a number of Arab leaders at the headquarte­rs of the 30th Arab Summit.

The meeting with the UN Secreatry General reviewed the bilateral relations and avenues of cooperatio­n between the two sides, as well as discussing the topics listed on the agenda of the Arab Summit, which concluded its deliberati­ons yesterday.

Kuwait Emir

His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jabir Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait received at the headquarte­rs of convening the Arab Summit in Tunis yesterday Sayyid Asa’ad.

During the meeting, Sayyid Asa’ad conveyed greetings of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said along with best wishes of permanent health and happiness to Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jabir al-Sabah, and the brotherly people of Kuwait further progress and growth.

On his turn, Sheikh Sabah asked Sayyid Asa’ad to convey his greetings along with best wishes of good health, wellbeing and a long life to His Majesty the Sultan, and the Omani people further progress and welfare under the wise leadership of His Majesty.

The meeting reviewed the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and exchanged cordial conversati­ons and issues of common concern, in addition to discussing the topics listed on the agenda of the Arab League.

King Abdullah II

King Abdullah II of Jordan received Sayyid Asa’ad in Tunis yesterday.

During the meeting, Sayyid Asa’ad conveyed greetings of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said along with best wishes of permanent health and happiness to King Abdullah II, and the Jordanian people further progress and growth.

On his turn, the Jordan King asked Sayyid Asa’ad to convey his greetings along with best wishes of good health, wellbeing and a long life to His Majesty the Sultan, and the Omani people further progress and welfare under the wise leadership of His Majesty.

The meeting reviewed the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and exchanged cordial conversati­ons and issues of common concern, in addition to discussing the topics listed on the agenda of the Arab League.

The meetings were attended by dignitarie­s and officials from the respective sides.
