Oman Cricket Club Salalah knockout finals on April 12

MUSCAT: Season-3 of Oman Cricket Club Salalah is coming to an end this week with Finals of Knockout Senior Cup and Intermediate Cup on 12th April followed by Annual Award Night on 13th April 2019.
Season started on 7th December 2018 with 29 teams playing in 4 divisions for Salalah Cricket League 2018-2019 and 28 teams played Knockout tournament.
Total 118 matches were played over a period of 4 months. Thanks to DG Sports Dhofar Governorate and Dhofar University they could prepare 5 grounds to play the matches on all fridays. The finals of the Knockout Tournament will be played on 12th April which will be witnessed and attended by Mr Moosa Ahmed Ali, Director General ,Directorate of Sports Affairs,Dhofar Governorate as Chief Guest along with Mr Madhu Jesrani Secretary Oman Cricket and Mr.Kiran Asher Treasurer Oman Cricket from Muscat along with many dignitaries in Salalah. The trophies for Knockout tournament will be given at the ground after the finals. The Annual Award night 2018-2019 will be held at Al Hajr Ballroom Rotana Hotel Salalah.Mr.Kanaksi Khimji Chairman Oman Cricket will be the Chief Guest.Many Omani Dignitaries from Directorate of Sports Dhofar and other Ministries are expected to grace the occassion. All the 4 divisions winners and runners up team will be felicitated at the event along with Man of the Series,Bowler of the Series and Batsman of the Series will be awarded.
