Rewarding after-sales promo for Fuso owners

The month-long campaign, under the banner of ‘We care for you as much as we care for your truck’, will run from October 1 to 31

MUSCAT: General Automotive Company (GAC), the official distributo­r of Fuso vehicles in Oman, will launch a rewarding after-sales campaign for Fuso owners, introducin­g, for the first time, a comprehens­ive health check-up for Fuso drivers in the capital, in addition to a host of free vehicle service offers around the country.

The month-long campaign, under the banner of ‘We care for you MUSCAT: In line with its continued efforts to support the developmen­t of small local businesses as well as to foster long-lasting partnershi­ps with these companies, Oman Arab Bank (OAB), recently, hosted its third SME Financial Management Workshop of the year, this time for SMEs operating in Sohar.

In addition, OAB also hosted the final Hayakkum roadshow event at the City Centre Sohar the day after the SME Workshop, providing an ideal platform for many SMEs from the region to showcase their products and services. The event also included several fun activities for both children and adults.

Commenting on the workshop, Al Salt Al Kharusi, the Head of Corporate and Institutio­nal Banking Group said, “Building business relationsh­ips and establishi­ng longas much as we care for your truck’, will run from October 1 to 31, presenting free services for Fuso owners in the country.

GAC service centres in Muscat, Sohar, Karsha, Salalah, Nimr, Fahoud, Sur, Buali, Ibri and Marmul will be geared up to provide free oil check, free vehicle checkpoint and free vehicle wash, among a host of other services during the month-long campaign.

“This is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to our Fuso patrons,” stated Manoj Ranade, General Manager of GAC, pointing out that the campaign has been designed to express gratitude to Fuso owners who have played a pivotal role in shaping Fuso’s remarkable growth in the country. Explaining further, he said, “We have partnered with Badr Al Samaa to provide health check-up for Fuso drivers in Muscat and have incorporat­ed a range of free services at our service centres around the country. All through the campaign period, our customer service personnel will be at hand to help Fuso owners avail free services for their trucks, in addition to the attractive ‘Scratch and win’ deal appended to the package.”

With the Fuso ‘Service Promise’ already ensuring 365 days service and maintenanc­e, in addition to mobile service and 90 minutes express service, Fuso owners are in for a celebrator­y month. It is a bonus, more so for owners who have had a long haul during the recently concluded Eid holidays. The valuable addition of free health checkup for drivers in the capital is expected to be the icing on the cake.

“It is a perfect demonstrat­ion of our slogan ‘We care for you as much as we care for your truck’. During our long stint in the automotive industry, we have been a close witness to the care and attention people devote to their vehicles, with regular check-ups and services. Now, with our free health check-up for drivers running parallel with the free vehicle check, we hope to create awareness among our patrons on the importance of personal health care, with regular check-ups. Under the umbrella of this after-sales campaign we will bring about a change in the mindset of Fuso owners and take the concept of health care one step forward,” stated Ranade.
