Maisarah Islamic banking conducts ‘Back to School’ draw

MUSCAT: Maisarah Islamic Banking Services recently conducted a special event to celebrate Back to School draw occasion with the customers. During the event, Maisarah conducted ‘Back to School’ draw were 10 customers had the chance to win OMR 1,000 each.

Congratulating the winner, Muhammad Al Mashani, Executive Manager Retail Business and Channels said, “We were pleased to celebrate ‘ Back to School’ occasion with our customers in Sohar, and conduct the Prize Account Draws. In this year’s scheme, we aim to instil the habit of saving among our customers including children and we are giving them more chances to win on each occasion we celebrate during the year.”

The fun-filled event hosted many activities and entertainment shows. As part of the event, Maisarah conducted weekly and monthly draws. For the weekly draw prizes, 3 customers from each branch got the chance to win OMR 100 each (a total of 30 customers). For the monthly draw prizes, 1 customer from each branch got the chance to win OMR 1,000 each (a total of 10 customers).

“I would like to congratulate the winners of Maisarah’s ‘Back to School’ draw and I encourage our customers to continue saving as they might be the winners in the coming draws.” Muhammad Al Mashani added.

Prize account is based on the Islamic profit sharing concept of Mudarabah. To follow their dreams, customers need to maintain an average balance of OMR 100 in their account for a week for weekly prizes and a month for all other attractive prizes. The more the customers’ save, the greater their chances of winning.

The exclusive feature of Maisarah Prize Account is that customers are eligible for the expected profit on the amount mentioned in addition to the prize amount which the bank is giving away from its shareholders’ funds. Hence, it is not only encouraging customers to save but also rewarding them.

This year, customers will have a chance to win OMR 100 in the weekly draws to be held throughout the year (3 customers from each branch). Under the monthly draw, more than 120customers will have the chance to win OMR 1,000(1 customer from each branch).
