Infra Oman exhibition to open tomorrow
Infra Oman, dubbed as one of the largest building and construction expo in the Middle East, has been continuously defining the industry’s development for the last 8 years
MUSCAT: Infra Oman – Oman’s biggest and only exhibition related to construction & Infrastructure will be organised for the ninth time from October 7 - 9 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre, Sultanate of Oman.
Sheikh Salim bin Mustahail Al Mashani, adviser to the Diwan of Royal Court will inaugurate the event at 2pm tomorrow. Infra Oman is supported by the Royal Oman Police DG Customs, The Muscat Municipality and the Oman Society of Contractors.
Infra Oman - dubbed as one of the largest building and construction expo in the Middle East has been continuously defining the industry’s development for the last eight years. It is considered as the annual meeting place for industry leaders, suppliers and buyers in the Sultanate of Oman. Infra Oman has proved to be an ideal starting point not only for the local companies but also for foreign entities that are more determined to be part of Oman’s growing market.
The exhibition will focus on construction requirements, green & future buildings, heavy equipment & technologies, hotel & tourism projects, industrial free zones, industrial manufacturing, power & water technologies, tools & equipment’s, transportation & logistics, infrastructure projects – roads, airports, and railways & ports – build & supply and other development projects.
Also, co-located with Infra Oman 2019 will be the GCC Supply Chain Logistics Exhibition showcasing logistics services, shipping, maritime services and investment opportunities. Oman and mainly the GCC continues to be one of the most lucrative and beneficial trading and logistics hubs in the world. A well-planned and developed infrastructure in the form of ports, shipping, aviation, warehousing and free-zones has played a key role in boosting the region’s supply chain and logistics sector. The exhibition aims to contribute to meeting the growing requirements of the logistics and infrastructure sector.
International exhibitors
The exhibition will feature more than 140 local and international exhibitors from countries like Australia, Canada, China, Egypt, India, Iran, Italy, Lebanon, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, The Netherlands, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and many more.
For the third time, there will be a Pavilion from Qatar with over 30 exporters, which is sponsored by Qatar Development Bank, seeking local partners in the vibrant Oman market.
The Middle East Drymix Mortar Association will be organising a workshop for Contractors, Consultants and Developers mainly focusing on the ‘Construction and Real Estate Industry in Oman’ on Tuesday, October 8 from 2:30pm6pm. The registration for the workshop is free of charge.
Al Mashani said, “The event is meant to provide local and international companies with the opportunity to introduce a range of their products, equipment, technologies, concepts and services to their target clients mainly including the decision-makers and top officials of companies in Oman’s vibrant building and construction industry.
