MHD delivers 10 Ashok Leyland buses to Al Hakeem Company

MUSCAT: The Automotive Division of Mohsin Haider Darwish has delivered 10 specifical­ly modified Ashok Leyland Buses to Al Hakeem National Company. Representa­tives from MHD, the authorised distributo­r of Ashok Leyland in Oman were present to hand over 10 units of its highest-selling buses in the region.

Sulaiman Said Nasser Al Saadi, chairman along with Mohammed Khamis Abdullah Al Saadi, managing director from Al Hakeem National took delivery of the vehicles. The company purchased these buses to fulfil its growing business needs.

Speaking on the occasion David Aziz, CEO of MHD Automotive Division said, “We have been working closely with the team at Al Hakeem National for many months as we have looked to identify their needs and create a package of vehicles that best meets those needs. These 10 vehicles will allow them to take their business onto a whole new level and we wish them every success as they continue to grow.”

Ashok Leyland is a leading commercial vehicle and bus manufactur­er from India. Distribute­d only by MHD in Oman, it has been in business for more than 60 years and sells around 100,000 vehicles annually. Ashok Leyland’s public transport and school buses are the market leader and come in a wide range of options.

The Ashok Leyland buses and trucks are available in MHD showroom in Muscat, Sohar and Salalah. Added to that, the aftersales facilities are also available in these locations.
