Payment has never been easier with BankDhofar Mobile Wallet

MUSCAT: As part of its endeavour to add further enhance customers’ experience and to provide a convenient payment method through digital channels, BankDhofar is glad to announce the added features to its mobile payment system.

Commenting on the added features, Ahmed Said Al Ibrahim, Chief Corporate Services Officer at BankDhofar, said: “We are delighted to be part of the Central Bank of Oman’s initiative to upgrade the mobile payments system within our mobile banking applicatio­n. This is a new system for money transfer between banks providing a safe, secure and efficient payment infrastruc­ture in the Sultanate. This will save time and guarantee safe and fast payment between individual­s and business customers. We - in BankDhofar - are committed to excel and provide the best in all business areas and meet the aspiration­s of all customers. This initiative including the “Mobile Wallet” service is a significan­t addition to our multi-award-winning mobile banking applicatio­n. Today BankDhofar is one of the fastest-growing banks in the Sultanate, providing the best customer experience in the banking sector.”

With the use of the BankDhofar’s Mobile Payments System through the Mobile Banking App, users can make a range of payments such as Person-to-Person (P2P), Person to Business (P2B) and Person to Government (P2G) with state-of-the-art QR scanning system, and dispute management facility and direct debit from the user’s account. The unique QR Scanning feature allows the users to transfer to quickly simply by scanning the QR code or by entering the registered mobile number or Alias of the beneficiar­y of another wallet holder. The user may also share the QR code through various channels such as WhatsApp, messages or email.
