MUSCAT: The nation and its people rallied behind His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimour as the new HM Sultan takes over the reins of the Sultanate of Oman.
His Majesty Sultan attended at Al Alam Palace the concluding ceremonies of condolences on the death of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
The attendees prayed to Almighty Allah to reward the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, and rest his soul in peace in paradise with the faithful and martyrs.
They also prayed to Allah to grant His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimour success and protect him for the good of his subjects.
