Toyota announces 14th Dream Car Art Contest 2020 winners
Since 2004, Toyota Dream Car Art Contest has been conducted as part of Toyota Motor Corporation’s social contribution initiatives
MUSCAT: Saud Bahwan Automotive, the dealers for Toyota in Oman, recently announced the winners of the 14th Dream Car Art Contest 2020 (TDCAC). The contest was successfully conducted across Toyota showrooms in the Sultanate of Oman.
Since 2004, Toyota Dream Car Art Contest has been conducted as part of Toyota Motor Corporation’s social contribution initiatives. It gives children throughout the world the opportunity to develop an interest in cars and helps them feel the joy and importance of having a dream.
The annual Toyota Dream Car Art Contest is held in different countries all over the world with the theme ‘Your Dream Car’. The importance of recognising a dream for children is the goal, as well as, encouraging children to become interested in cars by using their creativity and imagination. Toyota has ‘great hopes for the Dream Cars from the children’s rich imaginative powers.
In Oman, the 14th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest was conducted by Saud Bahwan Automotive to provide a unique opportunity for kids to showcase their imagination, creativity & talent. Kids up to 15 Years of age were welcomed from all over Sultanate of Oman to participate in 14th Dream Car Art Contest. The talented ones stood a chance to win exciting prizes such as Apple iPad, LG 43” Smart LED UHD TV, JBL 2.1 Soundbar, Play Station 4, Samsung Galaxy Tab A, Canon DSLR 4000D and more.
Thousands of entries were received for the competition, which encouraged children to imagine what cars of the future would be like, and creatively design their imaginations for the contest. With the successful conclusion of the event, the jubilant winners have now emerged.
In the Under 8 Category: From Liwa, Abdullah Mohammed Ali Al Farsi took home an Apple iPad 10.2 with WiFi. Rashid Abdul Aziz Al Jasasi, hailing from Ibri won an LG 43” Smart LED UHD TV. Adam Hani Ibrahim from Suwaiq was the happy winner of a JBL 2.1 Channel Sound Bar.
In the 8 to 11 years category, the winners comprised Rahaf Sultan Rashid Al Marshodi from Ibri, who won LG 43” Smart LED UHD TV. From Muscat, it was Balamurali Krishna Benoj who took home a PS4 500GB, while Reetaj Ahmed Al Mandhari from Sumail, won a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8 Inch.
In the children aged from 1215, the winners comprised Abdul Salam Salim Humaid Al Mabsali from Sinaw, who won LG 43” Smart LED UHD TV. From Muscat, Ahmed Ali Al Senaidi won a PS4 500GB and Jiya Sajeev from Bureimi won a Canon DSLR 4000D.
Apart from the above nine national winners, 60 branch winners were also declared in the 14th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest 2020, Oman and they each won Lulu gift vouchers. And every contestant who participated received a certificate of participation.
