MUSCAT: Johnny Rockets launched its newest branch on October 20 in Souq Al Madina, at Madinat Sultan Qaboos.

The new outlet was inaugurated by Zakariya Mubarak Ismail Al Zadjali, Rtd. Colonel and Member of the Board at BankDhofar, marking the second branch of the popular diner in Oman, with its first outlet in Al Khoud.

“When we opened our first branch in Al Khoud, we were overwhelmed by the response of the locals and expats towards our restaurant and the food we serve,” said T. Thiru, Business Manager for Johnny Rockets Oman. He further added, “We realised that the location in Al Khoud is not easily accessible to a group of residents who were eager to try our worldfamous burgers and milkshakes, which is why opening another branch in MQ was ideal.”

The new branch in Souq Al Madina at Madinat Sultan Qaboos maintains the brand’s fun, casual, and upbeat environment with interiors that represent a traditional ‘American Diner,’ while the exterior is more rustic and urban, with an exclusive seating area for their customers. In addition to the design, the staff ’s friendly service and classic old-school music which is lightly played in the background enhance the brand’s vibe as a relaxing place to hang out.

One of the customers present at the opening was beyond excited about the new branch. He told us, “When I heard about Johnny Rockets opening in MQ, I was thrilled. Finally, we have a branch closer to us. This whole experience is so exciting. While everyone knows the food here is brilliant without a doubt, this new location is really great. It’s ideal for those who go shopping and want to grab a bite or those who just want to relax with good food, friends, and family.”

Johnny Rockets is a 35-year-old American restaurant franchise famous for its signature milkshakes, fresh burgers and crispy fries. Burgers are cooked to order using 100 per cent halal beef, as well as chicken and veggie burgers, malts, and much more. Functioning across 30 different countries, Johnny Rockets goes by the idea of serving their customers a time of “burgers, shakes, fries, and fun” as stated in their logo.
