Maisarah enhances customers’ experience with innovative digital banking solutions
MUSCAT: Responding to the growing demand for more accessible, instant and convenient financial services, Maisarah Islamic Banking Services continues to enhance its customers’ banking experience with an expansive array of innovative digital solutions.
The Islamic banking window of BankDhofar had launched a bundle of pioneering facilities to give customers instant access to more services through a larger network of ATM/ CDM outlets nationwide, in addition, to its 24/7 mobile banking platform.
Marwan Mohammed Al Zadjali, Head of Digital Banking at Maisarah, highlighted the Islamic financial services provider’s commitment to bringing added value to its customers through innovative digital banking solutions. “We are thrilled to see the increasing demand for Maisarah’s digital banking touchpoints. The number of our mobile banking services, for instance, has increased rapidly, and we expect a higher turnaround of new customers across Oman as more services and further enhanced features are to be introduced. The same applies to our internet banking for both retail and corporate customers, as well as other self-services outlets such as ATM/ CDM ports,” he noted.
In a remarkable move to make banking easy for customers in all parts of the Sultanate, Maisarah had enabled customers to deposit cash to their accounts and other Maisarah accounts instantly via a wide network of more than 70 BankDhofar and Maisarah CDMs in all major Omani cities and towns. This made Maisarah one of the first Islamic banking services providers in the Sultanate to offer such a cost-free instant cash deposit facility using the beneficiary’s phone number instead of the bank account number. Also, Maisarah customers can now activate their newly opened accounts via BankDhofar and Maisarah CDMS, and complete charity and Zakat payments through Maisarah CDMs. Additionally, Maisarah customers can now view their credit card PIN and revise their monthly payment percentage through the mobile banking app.
