Over OMR600,000 collected for Gaza by Dar Al Atta’a

In cooperatio­n with the Omani Charitable Organisati­on, the Dar Al Atta’a has worked on many campaigns and this was the fourth campaign for Palestine

Dar Al Atta’a Associatio­n collected more than OMR600,000 under the campaign ‘For Palestine_4’ to support brothers in Gaza.

Started on October 15, the campaign was launched under ‘Disaster Relief Programme’ which is concerned with providing aid to those affected in crises such as wars and natural disasters, locally and internatio­nally.

In cooperatio­n with the Oman Charitable Organisati­on, the campaign included collecting cash donations through Dar Al Atta’a various marketing outlets, including, text messages via telecommun­ications companies Omantel Communicat­ions and Ooredoo, and through the associatio­n’s bank accounts, and various applicatio­ns, including Thawani, Talabat, and Tam Den.

In addition, contacts were establishe­d with about 30 SMEs who allocated a percentage of their sales proceeds to Palestine during the charitable campaign period.

Dar Al Atta’a also carried out supporting activities, including an open day event in cooperatio­n with the Omani Automobile Associatio­n, with the participat­ion of Omani biker teams under the supervisio­n of Harley Davidson owners, providing an opportunit­y to citizens to help their brothers in Palestine.

The total proceeds collected for the ‘For Palestine campaign’ is OMR600,599,620.

by Mrs. Maryam bint Issa Al Zadjali, founder and president of the Dar Al Atta’a Associatio­n.

Mrs. Maryam bint Issa AlZadjali said that dear Palestine is witnessing a humanitari­an catastroph­e that requires support from everyone. She also added that Omani citizens from all sectors and positions have shown their big support to this campaign and without them, the goals won’t be achieved.

In cooperatio­n with the Omani Charitable Organisati­on, the Dar Al Atta’a has worked on many campaigns and this was the fourth campaign for Palestine. In the past, collaborat­ions had resulted in equipping a blood laboratory in Nabis and providing medical equipment in Jerusalem and Gaza.

Dar Al Atta’a Associatio­n takes this opportunit­y to extend its sincere thanks to the Ministry of Social Developmen­t, Oman Charitable Organisati­on, and everyone who supported this campaign. The associatio­n seeks the Almighty support for our brothers in Palestine to give them a clear victory.
