The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported on Sunday that humanitarian convoys have been unable to deliver fuel to hospitals in the Gaza Strip due to Israeli obstacles.

In a tweet on its X account, the UN office announced that twothirds of the coordinated humanitarian missions in Gaza are facing obstacles or delays by the Israeli occupation authorities.

On average, each mission encountered delays of at least five hours before being allowed to proceed, it said. As a result, vital supplies, equipment, and fuel for backup generators in hospitals have not been delivered.

The Israeli entity continues its unprecedented aggression on the Gaza Strip for the 198th consecutive day with intense bombardment targeting homes, displaced civilian gatherings and streets.

OIC strongly condemns Israeli aggression

Meanwhile the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on Nur Shams Camp, east of Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank, which left several Palestinians martyred and injured, in addition to the arrest and torture of dozens of people, and the deliberate destruction of infrastructure, homes and property.

In a statement, the OIC said the Israeli crimes in Nur Shams Camp are an extension of the ongoing genocidal crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The organisation renewed its call on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and oblige the Israeli occupation to stop its aggression and continuous violations throughout the occupied Palestinian territory, and to provide protection for the Palestinian people, in implementation of relevant United Nations resolutions.

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces in Nur Shams Camp claimed the lives of 14 Palestinians, while several others were injured and arrested.

The occupation forces continue their aggression on the camp, deploying more military vehicles in all its axes, alleys and neighbourhoods, as well as the Nablus Street adjacent to its entrance, amidst heavy gunfire at anyone trying to leave or approach the camp.
