US Consul General Yuriy Fedkiw assumes charge

LAHORE: The newly appointed US Consul General Yuriy Fedkiw has assumed charge of his office as US Consulate General Lahore. He succeeded Zachary Harkenrider.

He is the 29th US diplomat to head the US Consulate in Lahore.

With a degree in East Asian Studies from the Wittenberg University, besides holding masters degree in International Affairs, Yuriy Fedkiw’s last diplomatic assignment was as the Principal Officer at the U.S. Consulate in Fukuoka, Japan.

The US diplomat has served in Iraq, Ukraine, Slovenia, China, Tokyo, and Washington, DC in the past as well.
