CHINESE LEADERSHIP TRUSTS PAKISTAN GOVT: SHEHBAZ

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday said the provision of another installlment of Rs 3.630 billion for Lahore Orange Line Metro Train (OLMT) project was a proof that Chinese government in the had confidence on the leadership of Pakistan. In a statement, he thanked the Chinese government and leadership for releasing a new installment for the fabulous Orange Line Metro Train (OLMT) project. He was of the opinion that release of new installment reflects full confidence of China in the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif as well as the Punjab government. Shehbaz Sharif said some opponents continued to launch baseless propaganda against this splendid welfare project, and added that another installment was a lesson for those opposing public welfare projects like the OLMT. He said completion of Orange Line Metro Train project would usher in a new era of friendship between Pakistan and China besides revolutionalising the transport sector.
