India has waged war against Kashmiris: Yasin Malik

KASHMIRIS TO OBSERVE BLACK DAY TOMORROW RADIO PAKISTAN PREPARES SPECIAL PROGRAMMES ON BLACK DAY

In Occupied Kashmir, illegally detained Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman Yasin Malik has said that New Delhi and its puppet administration have waged a war against the people of the territory.

He also declined to meet a proposed Indian delegation that was seeking to visit him at the hospital.

Yasin Malik said Kashmiris were known for their hospitality and harmony and we have never ill-treated any of our guests, but at a time when Indian state has waged a war against innocent Kashmiris these kind of gestures and meetings were futile.

“From last 108 days Indian army, paramilitary and police personnel have martyred more than 100 innocents in Kashmir; more than 15,000 are injured among whom about 600 have lost their eyesight due to pellet terrorism. Indian forces and police were beating and vandalizing humans, their residential houses, their vehicles, orchards, fruit and crop harvest, rice fields and other properties.

The JKLF Chairman said that from last three months in general and from one and a half month in particular, nocturnal raids, crackdowns, arrest spree and booking innocents from 8year-old to 85-year-old under black law Public Safety Act had become an order of the day and the whole occupied territory was reeling in pain but Indian civil society had maintained a criminal silence.

Meanwhile, the Kashmiris residing on both sides of Line of Control (LoC) will observe Black Day tomorrow here on Thursday to protest against the forcible invasion of Jammu and Kashmir by Indian forces 69 years ago.

Shutdown strikes and rallies will be held in the occupied territory whereas black flags will also be hoisted on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC).

Radio Pakistan has planned special programmes to express solidarity with Kashmiris on the occasion of Black Day.

Special messages of presidents and prime ministers of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir will be aired in programme “Subh e Pakistan” starting at 7:10am.
