DELIVER IN YOUR OWN PROVINCES FIRST: MARRIYUM TELLS PML-N OPPONENTS

KH SAAD RAFIQUE SAYS IMRAN IS NOT A SERIOUS MAN; HE HAS NO WISDOM, COURAGE SAYS KARACHI WAS ‘SLAUGHTER-HOUSE’ BEFORE PML-N’S TENURE

-

INFORMATION Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Monday said the country needed a visionary leader like Nawaz Sharif, who had transformed Pakistan into a modern, developed state in three and a half years. She advised those who wanted to compete with PML-N’s leadership should first deliver in the provinces where they were in power.

Addressing the PML-N workers convention here she said that the journey to progress and prosperity would continue and Nawaz Sharif would be re-elected prime minister in the 2018 general elections.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was the most popular leader of the country, who enjoyed the support of an overwhelming majority of the people, she added.

Imran Khan during the past three years had only levelled baseless allegations against the prime minister, she said.

She said that Nawaz Sharif made Pakistan a nuclear power, gave a network of motorways, the first healthcare programme, educational reforms programme and above all the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The minister said that the opponents— who could only gather a few hundred supporters in their rallies—knew that millions of people came to PML-N rallies.

“Today’s Pakistan was far better than the Pakistan of 2013,” she said, adding that now Pakistan stock exchange was number one in Asia and at number six in the entire world.

She said it was strange that those who could hardly gather a few hundred supporters in their rallies were demanding disqualification of the PM.

‘We are ready for accountability for the third time, but Imran Khan should also be ready for it’

Meanwhile, Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique in his address said the constitution allowed everybody to send money to their dear ones from abroad.

“We are ready for accountability for the third time, but Imran Khan should also be ready for it,” he said.

Saad said that he had never seen such a big liar like Imran, who would be accountable for funding to Pakistan Tehrike-Insaaf by the Jews and Hindus.

He said that Imran was not a serious man, he had no wisdom, depth and courage, adding that he could become everything but not a leader.

“Imran presents judges’ remarks to the media in a disorganised manner, but now he will have to decide whether he wants to prosecute his case in the court, in the media or he wants to stage a field in public. We are ready for every kind of competition at every forum,” he remarked.

“There is no kingship in PML-N. Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz are not our bosses. Our leaders have not taught us the politics of allegations as this is not a ‘darbar of Bani Gala’,” he added.

Saad Rafique, while talking about PPP said that Karachi before PML-N’s rule was a ‘slaughter house’, adding that dacoits ruled upon the province of Sindh.

“The five-year rule of Bilawal’s father was extremely detrimental for the country,” he said, adding that Musharraf’s eight-year tenure was also of ‘sheer destruction’.
