LHCBA goes to polls

Elections of the District Bar Association (DBA) Lahore were held on Monday, with over 17 thousand people using their franchised right. The polling started at 9am and continued till 5 in the evening, seeing 16 candidates vie for four seats The vote was still being counted till the filing of this report, with a strong contest being fought for the presidential post between Hamid Khan’s Professional group candidate Chaudhry Tanveer Akhtar and Asma Jahangir’s Friend’s group candidate Malik Arshad.
