Man­ulife Ja­pan launches Non- Par Whole Life Med­i­cal In­sur­ance

Man­ulife Life In­sur­ance Com­pany Ja­pan Pres­i­dent & CEO will com­mence sales of Ko­dawari Med­i­cal In­sur­ance, a non-par whole life med­i­cal in­sur­ance prod­uct with no-CSV dur­ing the pre­mium pay­ment pe­riod. The prod­uct will be of­fered through Man­ulife Ja­pan’s MGA1 sales chan­nel.

Ko­dawari Med­i­cal In­sur­ance is a med­i­cal in­sur­ance prod­uct that pro­vides the in­sured with whole life pro­tec­tion for cer­tain med­i­cal trans­plants, ra­dio­ther­apy and ICU care, as well as surgery and hos­pi­tal­iza­tion due to ac­ci­dent or dis­ease.

Cus­tomers may se­lect a plan most suit­able for meet­ing their in­di­vid­ual needs from the fol­low­ing three easy-to-un­der­stand plans: Smart Life ?: A ba­sic plan that pro­vides a pop­u­lar set of six pro­tec­tions. Life Guard: A risk-hedg­ing plan that pro­vides the Smart Life: plan plus an ex­ten­sion rider that pro­vides pro­tec­tion against seven ma­jor life­style dis­eases with a high on­set risk

Live Well: A com­pre­hen­sive plan de­liv­er­ing daily peace of mind which pro­vides the Life Guard ? plan plus a rider that pro­vides cov­er­age for ad­vanced med­i­cal treat­ment.

In­sured’s age: 30 years old; whole-life pay-type pol­icy; hos­pi­tal­iza­tion ben­e­fit daily amount = 10,000 yen; pay­ment limit = up to 60 hos­pi­tal­iza­tion days. Cus­tomers re­ceive ac­cess to “Med­i­cal Re­lief Sup­port­ing Your Phys­i­cal and Men­tal Health” 2 ser­vices pro­vided by the T-PEC Cor­po­ra­tion, which are in­cluded as part of Ko­dawari Med­i­cal In­sur­ance. These ser­vices in­clude rec­om­mended so­lu­tions for or­di­nary in­juries and dis­eases as well as sec­ond opin­ions from lead­ing med­i­cal doc­tors in Ja­pan.
