Manulife Japan launches Non- Par Whole Life Medical Insurance

Manulife Life Insurance Company Japan President & CEO will commence sales of Kodawari Medical Insurance, a non-par whole life medical insurance product with no-CSV during the premium payment period. The product will be offered through Manulife Japan’s MGA1 sales channel.
Kodawari Medical Insurance is a medical insurance product that provides the insured with whole life protection for certain medical transplants, radiotherapy and ICU care, as well as surgery and hospitalization due to accident or disease.
Customers may select a plan most suitable for meeting their individual needs from the following three easy-to-understand plans: Smart Life ?: A basic plan that provides a popular set of six protections. Life Guard: A risk-hedging plan that provides the Smart Life: plan plus an extension rider that provides protection against seven major lifestyle diseases with a high onset risk
Live Well: A comprehensive plan delivering daily peace of mind which provides the Life Guard ? plan plus a rider that provides coverage for advanced medical treatment.
Insured’s age: 30 years old; whole-life pay-type policy; hospitalization benefit daily amount = 10,000 yen; payment limit = up to 60 hospitalization days. Customers receive access to “Medical Relief Supporting Your Physical and Mental Health” 2 services provided by the T-PEC Corporation, which are included as part of Kodawari Medical Insurance. These services include recommended solutions for ordinary injuries and diseases as well as second opinions from leading medical doctors in Japan.
