Raja ap­proves pro­mo­tion of 103 of­fi­cers from dif­fer­ent ser­vice group

Prime Min­is­ter Raja Pervez Ashraf‚ on the rec­om­men­da­tions of Cen­tral Se­lec­tion Board‚ has ap­proved the pro­mo­tions of 103 of­fi­cers be­long­ing to dif­fer­ent ser­vices and groups.

Ac­cord­ing to state me­dia, this in­clude among oth­ers pro­mo­tion of 6 of­fi­cers of For­eign Ser­vice from BS-19 to 20; 4 of­fi­cers of In­for­ma­tion Group from BS-20 to BS-21; 4 from BS-20 to 21 and an­other 5 from BS-19 to 20 in In­tel­li­gence Bureau; 2 of­fi­cers from BS-20 to 21 and 1 from BS-19 to 20 in Mil­i­tary Land and Can­ton­ment Group; 21 of­fi­cers of Pak­istan Au­dit and Ac­counts Ser­vice from BS-19 to 20; 23 of­fi­cers of In­land Rev­enue Ser­vice from BS-19 to 20; 12 of­fi­cers of Pak­istan Au­dit and Ac­counts Ser­vice from BS-20 to 21; and 5 of­fi­cers of For­eign Ser­vice from BS-20 to 21.

Air Chief Mar­shal (R) An­gus Hous­ton, Aus­tralian Prime Min­is­ter’s Spe­cial En­voy called on Prime Min­is­ter Raja Pervez Ashraf at Prime Min­is­ter House and dis­cussed is­sues re­lat­ing to hu­man traf­fick­ing.

Wel­com­ing An­gus Hous­ton the Prime Min­is­ter said that Aus­tralia and Pak­istan en­joy good re­la­tions and have re­mark­able co­op­er­a­tion in var­i­ous ar­eas. Ap­pre­ci­at­ing the keen in­ter­est and full sup­port of the Aus­tralian government, the Prime Min­is­ter said that peo­ple of Pak­istan ap­pre­ci­ate the as­sis­tance pro­vided by the government of Aus­tralia, es­pe­cially for es­tab­lish­ing fa­cil­i­ta­tion cen­tres. Pak­istan, the Prime Min­is­ter said was com­mit­ted to the Bali Process and elim­i­nat­ing suf­fer­ings caused due to hu­man traf­fick­ing. Air Chief Mar­shal (R) An­gus Hous­ton thanked the Prime Min­is­ter for find­ing time to meet him which re­flected the close re­la­tion­ship and the im­por­tance at­tached to re­la­tions with Aus­tralia.
