POL price cut, people welcome new year's gift

A number of citizens were appreciated of the further cut in fuel prices by the government, and saw it as a new year gift for the public.

Petrol price has been reduced by Rs 6.25 per litre, HOBC Rs 14.14 per litre, kerosene oil Rs 11.26, light diesel oil Rs 10.48 and high diesel oil by Rs 7.86 per litre.

Talking to APP, Tahir Abbas, a vehicles owner said that democratic government led by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz is delivering in a resourceful manner and added that another reduction in Petroleum, Oil & Lubricants (POL) prices will provide healthy relief to the people.

Adnan Habid,a fuel station owner said the decision taken by the government would increase the daily sale and each common man would feel the benefit. Waseem Dar, a textile factory owner said that cut in POL prices would help to bring down the cost of doing business in Pakistan. He added that repeated cuts in petroleum prices show present regime's seriousness in putting the economy back on the track.
