ISLAMABAD: Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) dispatched 11 member group for "Community-based Health Operation and Management Course" to Japan. For this 18 days course, a sendoff ceremony was organized on Wednesday in a local hotel at Islamabad.

This Training Programme for Young Leaders of Pakistan is initiated by the Government of Japan under technical cooperation scheme for Pakistan.

The course has been designed essentially for young health educational professionals of the provincial and federal government in Pakistan. It is expected to enhance and polish the capabilities of the participants in the field of health through the Japanese experience.
