Pak Army protests with UN to probe LoC vi­o­la­tions

Pak­istan Army on Thurs­day launched a protest with the United Na­tions Mil­i­tary Ob­server Group in Pak­istan ( UNMOGIP) against In­dia's un­pro­voked and con­tin­u­ous bor­der vi­o­la­tions, ac­cord­ing to the ISPR.

The ISPR said that the Pak­istan Army has re­quested an in­ves­ti­ga­tion into the ag­gres­sion along Line of Con­trol (LoC) and Sialkot Work­ing Bound­ary. In par­tic­u­lar, the Army said a de­tailed in­quiry should be con­ducted by the (UNMOGIP) with re­gards the atroc­i­ties com­mit­ted on Au­gust 4 dur­ing which at least three Pak­istani civil­ians were mar­tyred and 22 oth­ers were wounded. It added that dur­ing the past seven months, at least 27 in­no­cent civil­ians have been mar­tyred while sev­eral oth­ers left in­jured.
