PESHAWAR: The Khy­ber Pakhtunkhwa Gover­nor Sar­dar Me­htab Ah­mad Khan says the gov­ern­ment is tak­ing prac­ti­cal steps for so­cio-eco­nomic de­vel­op­ment of FATA. Speak­ing at a brief­ing in Peshawar on Mon­day, he said FATA has played a lead­ing role in the war against terror. The Gover­nor said big de­vel­op­ment projects are be­ing launched in tribal ar­eas to in­clude it the na­tional stream of de­vel­op­ment. Mean­while, Prime Min­is­ter's Spe­cial As­sis­tant on Po­lit­i­cal Af­fairs Dr Asif Kir­mani has said that Hazara Mo­tor­way and China-Pak­istan Eco­nomic Cor­ri­dor will ben­e­fit the en­tire Pak­istan, in­clud­ing Hazara Di­vi­sion.
