Pakistan to host 8th SAARC Finance Ministers Meeting: Dar

Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar has proposed that Pakistan will host 8th meeting of SAARC Finance Ministers in 2016, in order to promote trade relations among the member states for the economic development and prosperity of the region.

Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar during the course of the SAARC Finance Minister's Meeting at Khatmandu on Thursday offered that Pakistan would host 8th meeting of SAARC Finance Ministers in Islamabad next year. The Meeting unanimously expressed acceptance of this offer and accordingly Pakistan will host 8th meeting of SAARC Finance Ministers in Islamabad in 2016, the statement added.
