UAE’s dig­i­tal in­ter­ac­tive show­room opens

DUBAI: Al-Fut­taim Mo­tors, ex­clu­sive dis­trib­u­tor of Toy­ota in the UAE, has launched the UAE's first vir­tual show­room tour us­ing Google's Busi­ness View "see in­side", tak­ing the show­room visi­ta­tion ex­pe­ri­ence to a whole new level by mak­ing it more im­mer­sive and in­ter­ac­tive, us­ing just a PC, lap­top or hand­held de­vice. The new fea­ture al­lows cus­tomers to step in­side lo­ca­tions vir­tu­ally, in this case, the Toy­ota show­room lo­cated on Sheikh Zayed Road. Vis­i­tors will get the chance to ex­plore the show­room, as well as the ex­te­rior and in­te­rior of a se­lec­tion of dis­played cars. Ac­tion cues, in the form of ar­rows, will ac­com­pany cus­tomers to guide them through­out the vir­tual jour­ney.

Alan Car­pen­ter, gen­eral man­ager Toy­ota Sales and Mar­ket­ing at Al-Fut­taim Mo­tors, said: "Our cus­tomer-first ap­proach across our busi­ness has driven us to of­fer new added con­ve­niences to cus­tomers, whether within our premises, or on our vir­tual net­works. "In to­day's dig­i­tal age, ev­ery cus­tomer in­ter­ac­tion and ex­pe­ri­ence be­gins on­line, of­fer­ing us the per­fect plat­form to present our retail ex­pe­ri­ence on an easy and ac­ces­si­ble medium. We rec­og­nize that on­line in­ter­ac­tion and search is the first step to make any pur­chase de­ci­sion, and with this lat­est dig­i­tal of­fer­ing, we're aim­ing to make pur­chas­ing a Toy­ota an even eas­ier and more at­trac­tive propo­si­tion."
