FPCCI strongly condemn Lahore blast

ISLAMABAD: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) President Abdul Rauf Alam on Monday strongly condemn act of terror Lahore in which dozens of innocent were targeted.

A suicide blast at a crowded park killed around 72 including children and women, while over 300 people were wounded which is yet another attack against masses by coward criminals, he said. Speaking to a meeting held to condole the tragedy, he expressed deep shock, sorrow and grief over the loss of innocent and precious lives and offered condolence­s to the grieved families. Abdul Rauf Alam said that Pakistan is in a state of war facing threats on its external as well as internal front and that there is a need to unite against these enemies of humanity.

Such attacks would not deter the national resolve to eliminate the wave of militancy and stamp out terrorism, the entire nation had been grieved by the tragedy, he added.

He said that the nation supports government and army and was united to root out terrorism from the country as collective efforts were required to make Pakistan prosperous and it was time to prove patriotism. President FPCCI said that terrorism war was actually between the humanity and cruelty adding that those who kill innocent humans due to their misplaced ideology were animals. He demanded best available medical treatment and swift compensati­on to the victims and enhanced security in across the stretch of the country including the federal capital.
