Giving NRO equivalent to treason with country: PM
Prime Minister ( PM) Imran Khan on Sunday has reiterated that giving National Reconciliation Ordinance ( NRO) to the corrupt elements would be equivalent to committing treason with the country.
In a statement, the premier criticized opposition parties and said that the country cannot be developed until they are made accountable. These people want to hear three words from my side. I will not give NRO to anyone, he affirmed.
The remarks of the premier came as Jamiat Ulema- e- Islam- Fazl ( JUIF) Chief Maulana Fazlur

On the other hand, Maulana is planning the next course of action for the Azadi marchers to proceed for increasing pressure on the government. Fazl had given PM Khan two days to resign or else he said: "We will be forced to think of another strategy".
Importantly, the opposition's Rehbar Committee has recommended a plan to shift the protest venue to DChowk.
JUI- F chief, while welcoming the leaders of political parties in Azadi March, said they [ the protesters] would not be able to exercise patience after two days.

Minister Imran Khan on Sunday shared some of the dazzling pictures of the Kartarpur complex and Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, saying the revered venue is ready to welcome the Sikhs pilgrims for the 550th birth anniversary celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev. The pictures were shared by Khan on his Twitter account ahead of the planned inauguration of the Kartarpur corridor on November 9.
The year 2019 marks the 550th birth anniversary year of Sikhism founder Guru Nanak Dev, whose birthplace is Sri Nankana Sahib in Pakistan.
"Kartarpur ( is) ready to welcome Sikh pilgrims," he tweeted.
In another
tweet,
he congratulated his government for completing the construction work on time.
"I want to congratulate our govt for readying Kartarpur, in record time, for Guru Nanak jee's 550th birthday celebrations," he said.
Earlier, Khan also abolished the condition of passport for Indian Sikhs coming to Kartarpur and the service fee of $ 20 for those coming for the inaugural ceremony and on the 550th birth anniversary of the Sikh Guru on November 12.
The Kartarpur Corridor will connect the Dera Baba Nanak shrine in India's Punjab with Darbar Sahib at Kartarpur, located at Narowal district of Pakistan's Punjab province.
