New flights to Nadi and Cairns

Air Ni­ug­ini’s new non­stop flights to Nadi, Fiji, started in early Septem­ber. With a flight time of just over 4.5 hours, the new Boe­ing 737 ser­vice of­fers the fastest route be­tween Pa­pua New Guinea and Fiji.

Flight PX086 de­parts Port Moresby at 9.55am on Thurs­days (Satur­days from Novem­ber 2), ar­riv­ing in Nadi at 4.45pm – early enough to con­nect with Fiji Air­ways do­mes­tic flights to

Suva or longer– haul des­ti­na­tions to the US.

Flight PX087 de­parts Nadi at 8.30am on Fri­days (Sun­days from Novem­ber 3), ar­riv­ing in Port Moresby at 11.30am.

Air Ni­ug­ini op­er­ates twice­weekly ser­vices to Nadi – one non­stop and the other via Ho­niara. The ser­vice via

Ho­niara is now on a Boe­ing 737 air­craft, which has re­placed the Fokker 100.

Air Ni­ug­ini has also in­creased the num­ber of flights to Ho­niara from four to six weekly, mak­ing it more con­ve­nient to travel be­tween PNG and Solomon Is­lands. ■
