MELLOW WHILE MOLTING

Orange-winged amazon parrots molt once or twice a year.

Keep them comfortable by:

1.

Spraying a fine mist of warm water on them. This will help keep the new feathers soft.

2.

Checking them daily for spots or patches.

3.

Taking them immediately to a veterinarian if there are unusual or broken feathers (and there can be several).
