NBA star, coach Theus sa NBA Cares

- Ernest Hernandez

“I thought this is a great day. First, worked with the young kids at NBA Cares and then the older ones, the All-Stars at NBA Fit,” sambit ni Theus.

“I just think it was just fantastic. The kids, you have to get them engaged and what I was trying to make them understand is that these drills we do in college basketball and in the NBA.”

“As you know, I coached in the college and in the NBA and basketball is basketball, whether it is on the college level or high school basketball, it is still basketball – you teach the same things. You just obviously have different players in the play,” aniya.

“I think the NBA Cares reached so many people around the world and Philippine basketball is the second largest in the world next to the United States. It is just a pleasure to be here with the NBA. I have always been someone that is proud to have been an NBA player and I am so happy that “It is just great to see the sponsors here, they have done a great job, they really put this on – just look at the court. Look what they have done. It is just fantastic. It is just for the kids. The NBA has done a great job going around the world just to teach them and educate them about basketball and that is why I am here today. It is an honor to be here.”
