Word war ni Digong vs CPP, lumala pa

Bumuwelta ang mga makakaliwa sa word war na anila ay sinimulan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa ikalawang State of the Nation Address (SONA) nito, at mismong si Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) founding member Jose Ma. Sison ang nangunguna.

Sinabi ni Pangulong Duterte, sa kanyang talumpati sa joint session ng Kongreso nitong Lunes, na ang lider ng partido ay hindi lamang matanda kundi may sakit pa.

Nagtataka si Sison sa mga bira ng Pangulo kaugnay sa kanyang edad.

“Duterte himself is an old man at 72. I am only 6 years older than him. So what is the public issue? I am still physically and mentally strong, trying hard as NDFP chief political consultant to help in the GRP-NDFP peace negotiations, which have been scuttled by Duterte,” ani Sison.

Sinabi rin ni Duterte na sinasayang lamang ng mga makakaliwa ang oras ng gobyerno.

Iginiit ni Sison na ang GRP ang hindi interesado sa peace talks.

“Duterte thinks it is a waste of time to negotiate peace with the NDFP. It is because he is really not interested in peace negotiations concerning social, economic, and political reforms to lay the basis for a just and lasting peace,” ani Sison.

Nilinaw din ni Sison ang estado ng kanyang kalusugan, at inamin na totoong naospital siya, ngunit dahil lamang sa rheumatoid arthritis at skin allergy.

Kinuwestiyon ni Sison ang kakayahang mamuno ng Pangulo.

“It is Duterte who has to explain his disappearances for medical reasons because the public is entitled to know everything that pertains to his suitability for public office,” ani Sison.

Nanawagan naman ang CPP sa Pangulo na wakasan ang “one year of death and destruction” nito at baguhin ang kanyang tono, na ang tinutukoy ay ang mga naging pahayag ni Duterte sa mga nagpoprotesta sa labas ng Batasan Complex nitong Lunes.

“One year of death and destruction is enough. The people demand an end to all your fascist madness,” saad ng CPP.

Tinawag ng CPP si Duterte na “madman,” na nagbabanta sa mga serye ng pag-uusap ng pamahalaan at ng National Democratic Front, na nakatakda sa susunod na buwan.

“You are a madman with bombs. You are a bully,” ayon sa grupo.

Inakusahan din ng partido ng CPP si Duterte na yumuyukod sa impluwensiya ng mga banyagang kapitalista.

“But you are a weakling when faced with the powerful... You have bowed to China. You have bowed to the US imperialists,” saad ng CPP.
