Tony Labrusca, mas sumikat kaysa winners sa ‘Pinoy Boyband Superstar’
TALUNAN sa pakontes na Pinoy Boyband Superstar, hindi naging dahilan iyon kay Tony Labrusca para hindi ipagpatuloy ang pangarap na maging singer.
Pero hindi na pagkanta lang sa TV guestings at out-oftown shows ang ginagawa niya. Palibhasa guwapo, matangkad at may dating, isinama siya sa seryeng La Luna Sangre (LLS) bilang ka-love triangle nina Daniel Padilla at Kathryn Bernardo.
“I’m thankful to God because who would know me losing Boyband could open me so many windows and doors and I just feel so overwhelmed and so thankful to everybody that just so supportive of me, especially to La Luna Sangre for giving me that opportunity and most of all to God for giving me another chance,” pahayag ni Tony nang makatsikahan namin.
Biniro namin ang singer/actor na mas sikat na siya ngayon kaysa sa Boyband PH members na sina Ford Valencia, Joao Constancia, Tristan Ramirez, Niel Murillo, at Russell Reyes na bihirang mapanood ngayon sa telebisyon
“Actually wala naman pong ganu’n. We’re just very supportive of each other,” magalang na sagot niya.
Nabanggit ba ng grupo kung pinapanood siya sa La Luna Sangre?
“Hindi ko pa po natanong, but I’m sure nakakita na sila ng snippets and I’m sure they’ve seen ABS-CBN shows like La Luna Sangre.”
Hangang-hanga si Tony kay Kathryn lalo na sa pagtulong sa kanya na tinutulungan siya noong unang sabak niya sa taping ng LLS.
“Lalo na nu’ng first time ko na nasa bundok kami. Kath was really helping me out with I don’t have to move ‘kasi nagsusukat pa lang ‘yung camera,’ or ‘eto ‘yung ibig sabihin ni Direk,’ or ‘this is what that means,’ so she really helped me with the technicalities, the directing, the terminologies. She helps me out with the scenes, as well and I always ask Kath for advice kasi I know since I’m the new one, parang laging ako na lang ang lagi nilang kailangang tulungan,” kuwento ng binata.
Nagkakilala o nagkikita ba sila ni Daniel sa set ng LLS?
“We haven’t been able to talk too much, but the times that I’ve met Daniel, we’ve been able to say hi and we’ve been able to have small talk and he’s a really nice guy,” say ni Tony.
Highly appreciated din niya ang pagtatanggol sa kanya ni Daniel nu’ng binabash siya ng KathNiel fans nang lumabas sa istorya ng LLS na siya ang third party.
“I really appreciate that and I’m proud of them for standing up especially since they’re the official anti-cyber bullying advocates here in the Philippines and I’m happy that they did that,” saad ng binata.
Sa malls, hindi na Tony ang tawag ng mga tao sa kanya kundi Jake.
“Tinatawag na po akong Jake, natutuwa naman ako nang biglang may tatawag ng Jake, ‘tapos biglang lilingon naman ako na parang instinct na. Hindi naman po ako ganu’n kasikat para hindi makapag-mall or gumawa ng everyday stuff.
“Nakikita ko naman na may mga nakakapansin na sa akin pero not to the point na in-ambush (dinudumog) na ako, I know they’re still a little bit shy like hearing them, ‘si Jake ba ‘yun a La Luna Sangre?’ I still get to do what I want, nakakapag-Timezone pa naman po ako,” masayang kuwento ng binata.
