Bumabang satisfaction rating ni Duterte ‘expected’ na

Para sa mga lider ng Simbahan, hindi na nakagugulat ang pagbaba ng net satisfaction rating ni Pangulong Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte.

Sinabi ng isang Katolikong obispo na sa katunayan ay inasahan niya ang mas mababa pang satisfaction rating dahil sa pagkadismaya ng mamamayan sa administrasyong Duterte.

“The drop in the ratings of President Duterte is not a surprise for me. I expected it even to be lower in view of the deep dissatisfaction of the people with Duterte’s prodeath dictatorial administration,” ani Sorsogon Bishop Arturo Bastes sa isang panayam.

Aniya, nagsisimula nang mabalisa ang mamamayan at umiiwas na rin ang mga banyagang mamumuhunan sa Pilipinas dahil sa mga paglabag sa karapatang pantao.

“Slowly the economic gains of our country are eroding because of bad international reputation. I hope that we will not regress to become again the economic basket case of Asia,” ani Bastes.

Umaasa ang obispo ng Sorsogon na magsisilbing “wake- up call” sa pangulo at sa kanyang mga tagasuporta ang resulta ng survey.

Naniniwala naman si Father Jerome Secillano, executive secretary ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP)-Public Affairs Committee, na patuloy na bababa ang net satisfaction at trust rating ng Pangulo kapag hindi siya nagbago.

“It will continue to go down unless he shapes up especially on issues of corruption, extrajudicial killings, police impunity and others,” aniya.

Sinabi ng opisyal ng CBCP na hindi na siya nagulat sa reaksiyon ng mga tao.

“We’re talking about a person who obviously has a penchant for lying. So, how do we expect people to react? It is not a surprise anymore that his trust rating will dwindle,” ani Secillano.

Batay sa Third Quarter 2017 Social Weather Survey, isinagawa mula Setyembre 23 hanggang 27, 2017, 67 porsiyento ng mga Pilipino ang “satisfied,” 14% ang “undecided,” at 19% ang “dissatisfied” sa performance ni Pangulong Duterte.

Nakuha ni Duterte ang net satisfaction rating na + 48, 18 points mas mababa kay “very good” net satisfaction rating ng +66 noong Hunyo 2017.

Para naman kay opposition Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, ang huling resulta ng SWS ay nagpapahiwatig na naliliwanagan na ang mga Pilipino.

“It’s very encouraging to know that the Filipino people are beginning to see the light,” ani Trillanes.

“They are now seeing Duterte for who he really is: a lying, rude, amoral, corrupt and oppressive former mayor who is totally incompetent about governance at the national level.

“So the next survey results are expected to be worse,” aniya pa.
