TINANGHAL ang Nino Jesus House of Studies bilang kampeon sa secondary division ng PAPRISAA (Pasig Private Schools Athletic Associatio­n).

Nadomina ng NHHS ang La imaculada Catholic School, 104-73, sa championsh­ip duel kamakailan sa Barangay San Antonio gymnasium sa Pasig City.

Pinangasiw­aan ni multi-titled coach Beaujing Acot, ratsada ang Saints sa naiskor na 14-0 run sa kaagahan ng third period tungo sa one-sided win sa torneo na nagtatampo­k sa mga eskwelahan sa lungsod ng Pasig.

“It was a good game for both teams despite our winning margin. We’re lucky we managed to stop their outside shooters,” pahayag ni Acot.

“I would like to acknowledg­e the efforts of LICS and coach Joel Palapal for giving their best shot.”

“It was a total team effort for NJHS. We worked hard for this fane and sacrificed a lot. To God be the glory,” pahayag naman ni assistant coach Migs Geronimo.

Kabilang sa koponan sina Jan Daniel Geronimo, Justin Ollesca, Allen Llanza, Russel Bagauisan, Llyod Mallari, Charles Palaspas,

Robert Carbonell, Justin Fagarita, Andrie Concepcion, Migi Jacob, Kimuel Asio, Andres De Guia, Jonathan Gloria, Clarence Lubiano at Mark Frias.

Samantala, makikipagt­ulungan ang NJHS sa Pinoy Youth Dreamers para katawanin ang bansa sa 6th Asia Pacific Basketball Youth Cup sa Oktubre 2629 sa Singapore.

Itinataguy­od ang pagsabk ng NJHS at PYD ng Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) at Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), sa pakikipagt­ulungan ng Philippine Charity Sweepstake­s Office, Mayor Bobby Eusebio, Vice Mayor Iyo Caruncho at Pasig City Council.

Naghahanda rin ang NJHS sa pagsabak sa PAPRISAA secondary basketball division sa Nobyembre.
