PH tampok sa worldwide event vs climate change

- Ellalyn De Vera-Ruiz

“We stand at a pivotal moment in our mission to solve the climate crisis,” sabi ni Gore.

“While the Paris Agreement gave the world a critical framework for solving the crisis, it’s up to us – concerned citizens of all backgrounds – to keep this progress going, no matter what actions the Trump Administration takes. This year’s 24 Hours of Reality broadcast will highlight empowered citizens taking action across the world, and will inspire those watching to use their own voices to be part of the solution,” dagdag niya.

“After typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) became the strongest tropical typhoon to ever make landfall and ripped through the Philippines in 2013, taking the lives of thousands and inflicting billions in damage, there was no question about the reality of climate change. The only question was what to do,” ayon kay Rodne Galicha, Philippine manager ng Climate Reality Project.
