PNP muli sa drug war, mali –bishops
Para sa ilang obispo ng Simbahang Katoliko na “bad decision” ang plano ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ibalik sa Philippine National Police (PNP) ang kampanya ng gobyerno kontra ilegal na droga.
Ayon kina Manila Auxiliary Bishop Broderick Pabillo, chairman ng Episcopal Commission on the Laity ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), Marbel Bishop Dinualdo Gutierrez at Novaliches Bishop Emeritus Teodoro Bacani, maling desisyon na alisin sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) ang mandato sa pagsugpo ng illegal drugs trade sa bansa.
“This decision raises question,” giit ni Bacani, sa panayam ng Radio Veritas.
“Bad decision, we must pray,” ayon naman kay Gutierrez.
“This shows the manner of his rulefickle minded and without workable plans,” ani Pabillo.
