Direk Paul, mas pasadong tatay kaysa husband

presscon ng Siargao ay natanong si Direk Paul Soriano kung kailan siya magdidirek ng comedy film na ang bida ay ang asawa niyang si Toni Gonzaga na kilalang magaling magpatawa.
Matatandaan na naidirek na ni Paul si Toni noong magkasintahan pa lang sila, sa pelikulang A Journey Home (2009) na unang pelikula ng direktor.
Hindi ito matandaan ng iba dahil hindi raw ito naipalabas sa mga sinehan.
“It didn’t really come out in the cinema, it’s more DVD and stuff like that,” kuwento ni Direk Paul.
“I don’t know if I can direct Toni anymore only because the relationship, you know, she’s my wife, how am I supposed to direct her, we go home together. It might be tough. May be produce na lang,” sagot ni Direk Paul sa katanungan.
Samantala, nagsawa na ba sa awards si direk Paul Soriano? Dahil box-office ang pinili niya nu’ng tanungin siya kung ano ang mas gusto niya, box-office o awards.
“I’ll choose box office because it’s shows I’m the producer of the film you know. And I want to produce more for the rest of my life as long as the camera allows me. Financially you do well in the film, allows you to make more movies, so ‘yun,” katwiran ng direktor. At sa guesting ni Direk Paul sa Tonight
With Boy Abunda ay nabanggit niyang mas okay siyang daddy ni Severino Elliot (anak nila ni Toni) kaysa asawa.
“Cause it comes naturally. I think (as a) husband, I have to work at it. My dad and my mom say this, the marriage will always and forever be a work in progress. Of course, I’m not gonna be the perfect father, but for me, I want to be that perfect father. I know I’ll fail, but I want to. Natural, e. Parang to be a father is natural,” pahayag niya.
Mapapanood na ang Siargao sa Disyembre 25 at ayon kay Direk Paul, “Let’s experience happy and fun this Christmas, please watch Siargao, you will enjoy the film.”
